I just had to do it–call my little sister! If I don’t, I walk around with a feeling rattling around in the back of my brain that tells me I have forgotten something important.
So you make the call and reconnect. Even if it is a short conversation, it’s enough to say, “hey, I’m here and I’m thinking about you”. It’s good to strengthen these family connections. No one knows you as well as a sister. And amazingly they usually like you, regardless!
I like the quote: A sister is a forever friend. I hope that this will always be true!

Joan Ellen,I know what you mean about connecting with your sister. My sister and I talk every day on the telephone. There's just no one else like a sister. I'm so thankful to have a sister. We love each other and talk about everything. I'm so glad you have a sister, too.
